Fucoxanthin is a sulfated polysaccharide contained in the transparent "mucus" on the surface of seaweed.
When tides or sand currents damage the stems or leaves, this “mucus” functions to prevent bacteria from entering the wound. It can also prevents dryness and retain moisture on seaweed.
The fucoxanthin was discovered in 1913 by Swedish scholar Kylin. In recent years its immune-enhancing effect has attracted people’s attention, and various studies are being promoted all over the world in order to achieve  beauty or nutrition supplement.

Magnesium disalicylate selectively inhibits inflammation-related enzymes and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2: COX-2). COX-2 is an enzyme associated with inflammation or proliferation of cancer cells, and it is very important to inhibit its activity.
There is an enzyme called COX-1, whose structrure is very similar to COX-2. COX-1 can protect gastric mucosa or maintain blood flow and blood pressure.
